The cop drama reboot will reach a decade on the air.
May 9, 2019
CBS announced today that Hawaii Five-0 has been picked up for a tenth season. Ranking as the network's fourth-longest-running drama, the rebooted cop series continues to be a reliable Friday night staple, where it has been airing for the past six years.
A re-imagining of the classic police procedural that aired from 1968 to 1980, Hawaii Five-0 follows Officer Steve McGarrett, who has returned to Hawaii to join up with Danny Williams as part of an elite branch of the Hawaii Police Force. Reaching 10 seasons is an impressive feat, but whether it will surpass the 12 seasons of the original is yet to be seen.
Look for Season 10 of Hawaii Five-0 to premiere this fall.

While watching the season finale I was commenting that this is still one of the wife and mines most favourite shows and this is great news! The new cast additions were great and I'm still hoping to make it to Hawaii for a holiday and try to see some filming, so this gives me some more hope!

Great news! This show still has plenty of life left in it! I agree with some of the other people who've left comments; the new cast members have really been great additions, while still having Alex O'Laughlin and Scott Caan as the anchors. Hope it keeps going for a long while yet! Always look forward to each new episode!

Great news! Usually by S10 a lot of shows get stale but this one got a new life with the addition of the new cast members. I still miss the others but the show did go on.

I never get tired of this show The new cast came in and really made it a fresh show. Although I enjoyed the cast members who left. The only complaint I have is they need more stories with the chubby character. He's a conspiracy guy and all that.
