CBS has renewed Hawaii Five-0 for a sixth season. The veteran cop drama, which passed the 100-episode milestone late last year, continues to be a solid performer for the network on Friday nights.
Season 6 will return as part of the 2015-2016 season, likely this September.

love the show. The stories are easy to follow. love Alex & Danny when Alex gets aggressive and Danny gets mad. keep up the story lines.

This is not your parents' Hawaii 5-O. I think it's much better than the original version and it's one of my favorites. Glad it got renewed.

So there are only 3 comments for a show that gets renewed and a lot more for shows that get cancelled. What does that tell you? Good looking people, nice scenery, only the bad get murdered. Yup, sounds just like real life.
Note to Tv execs: Shows that make it are empty, shallow, escapist fodder. Make more of these shows for the new tech-heavy crowd that have no grip on reality. Speaking of reality, please make more of those shows, that also have no grip. Note to self: get a new hobby, because TV is dead.
By the way, I thought this show was awful when the first version aired when I was 8.

Im overjoyed, I was getting worried for a moment, seeing these guys is the highlight of my tv week, fabulous scenery, stories I can actually follow, a little humor, and too much of Alex is never enough.

actually the story lines are just that story lines - but they also show the beauty of the islands - and like the original series only bad people get murdered :)

Another year for the show that makes Hawaii look like Detroit or Oakland - murder capital of the US!
