There is finally some news to report on the upcoming third season of Scream. More than two and a half years since it was renewed, a premiere date and a new network has been set for the show's return.
The horror drama is moving from MTV to VH1 for Season 3, which will be a short six-episode run that will air over three nights beginning July 8. Titled Scream: Resurrection, the upcoming season will be a reset of sorts, with a new cast and setting. The original Ghostface mask from the movies will also be featured for the first time on the TV version of the show.
Look for the 2-hour premiere on Monday, July 8 at 9:00pm on VH1.

I did watch this and it is ok at best , but it was not the actors fault that seems like a shadow of scream. It has teens that do not go to the police, and memorable lines like " the cops would not look very hard for a missing black kid" ??? Really? It seems to be written by someone who attended a college with a saferoom. I think they were wise to wait two years to show this , after all tbey had to have a tten who campions social justice, lol , sadly many real teens barely care about stopping littering much less anything else. It is just a show that is done and they knew it , and so they burned ot off in three days.

OK. So, I decided to tune in, and I actually really like it! It's well - done! PJ only had a cameo. It'd be interesting to see if it got a season 4 since they're now billing it as an anthology.

Yes , it took 2 and half years to bring this back? And then they switch it to a even less watched network? I don't hold out hope for a 4th season. But at least this site let me know it's swtiched ;because I would have never known it was on then.

Ughhhh I’m actually a little interested. I love the scream movies but the first season of this and what I was able to get through of the second were pretty awful but I would consider checking out the reset

Changed it totally to an all black cast apart from Paris Jackson who will likely be killed quickly. It's a no from me.

They filmed the season back in 2017 and they have been sitting on it since then.
