The dramedy will not return for a second season.
July 27, 2019
It is being reported that Amazon has cancelled Forever after just one season. Until today there had been no word on the dramedy's future since its freshman release last September.
The series starred Saturday Night Live vets Fred Armisen and Maya Rudolph as a comfortably-married couple living a fairly predictable life in the suburbs of Riverside, California. But when they decide to try something different and take a ski trip, the two find themselves in completely unfamiliar territory that raises new questions about love, marriage, and commitment.

It was a horrible premise for a show, but with all the different options out now you can make a show and see if it sticks.

It’s not even the only show called “Forever” in recent memory to be cancelled after one season.

This is the second series with that name that's been cancelled. I did love the other one though.

Anyone see the irony in a show called "Forever" being cancelled? Didn't watch as I cannot stand Maya Rudolph.
