The wresting comedy will come to an end in 2020.
September 20, 2019
Netflix announced today that GLOW has been picked up for a fourth and final season. The news arrives one month after the release of Season 3, which has continued to garner critical praise for its smart, but campy, storytelling and its strong ensemble cast.
Based around the 1980s phenomenon "Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling", GLOW stars Alison Brie as Ruth Wilder, an actress in Los Angeles who, in an attempt to keep her dream of stardom alive, takes a gig portraying a female wrestler on a TV show. This thrusts her into the world of wrestling stardom alongside a group of Hollywood misfits, lead by a washed-up B-movie director who joins them on their journey to fame.
Look for Season 4 of GLOW in mid-2020.

Okay sure if it doesn't fit your narrative it must not be a storyline. So only 2 characters had a storyline. Maybe watch the show. Obviously YOU either missed something or YOU are just ignoring the world so it fits your narrative.

hilarious that y'all focus on 2 minutes in 1 episode and tout that as a "storyline". B-roll is not story.

Wow Uggh is right. I watched this season and thought certain story lines were brought out, but in no way dominated the entire season. That totally is a you problem. I mean when you see a 50 year old with back problems from wrestling and think this "was driven by homophobia", you have to wonder why your mind is.

W - We
O - Ostensibly
K - Know
E - Everything
It's a falsehood.

er.. no.. every major plot change was driven by homophobia as it existed in the 80s. Season 3 as all about the "gay thing". Yes there were MINOR back stories for characters, but overall the story arc of season 3 was driven by the 1980s discovery of aids and homophobia. Now is that a problem? Heck no. If that was what the series is about. However, up until season 3 there was absolutely zero content regarding LGBT lifestyles other than a couple of the wrestlers and ever that was left more subtle and for the viewer to "figure out". Season 3 was like a gay-bomb went off. Observation does NOT make a viewer biased.

You should question not why the show went that way, but why that is all you saw when it was only a portion of the show. Health problems, racism, the next generation out do the current one, working mothers, sexism, and career identity were also in the season but somehow you missed them. That sounds like a you problem, not a GLOW problem.

@Chubba.....THANK YOU!!!! YES!!!
GLOW had to go all SJW WOKE this season, and just RUINED it!! If there's a gay/lesbo couple...ok. WHO CARES?!! Why does it have to be the focal point of a whole SEASON?!! So STUPID!!! The girls and their back-stories are what made this show great. Not WOKE SJW nonsense. Trannies, lesbos, gay-married-bi-sexual blah, blah blah. I'm over this show AND NetFlix!!
Commence NetFlix cancellation in 3....2....1.......

Wonder if season 4 will be all about being gay as well. I mean, they ruined season 3 with that story arc. It made no sense.
