TBS has announced that Full Frontal with Samantha Bee has been picked up for a fifth season. The news is no surprise, as the Emmy Award-winning weekly news comedy program has been continuing its strong performance since receiving a two-year renewal back in 2018.
Considering the country's continued heightened interest in the political landscape, the show's popularity makes sense. Currently TV's top ad-supported late-night series among young adults, each episode of the show is seen by roughly 4 million viewers across linear, VOD, and digital platforms, with a total of over 300 million views on its YouTube channel alone.
Longtime Daily Show correspondent Samantha Bee hosts the show, using her unique comedic voice to give a nuanced view of the country's current political and cultural issues. Additionally, international stories are covered with segments from countries such as Russia, Germany, and Iraq.

To be fair.. Sam Bee CAN be hysterically funny when she's not preaching... unfortunately, she's turned her "comedy" show into a pulpit.

"Liberal woman swear she not funny!" You're free to not watch the show, you know. I don't watch Fox News or Jimmy Fallon, or any other show I might find unfunny or annoying.

If she is as unhappy as she appears to be, she's free to renounce her US citizenship and return to her native Canada. Perhaps she'll get a show and moan about Trudeau.

I just don't find her funny. The last time a leftist had a show that was funny was Colbert Report. He was mocking conservatives, but it wasn't in a nasty way like he does now. The Daily Show, where Samantha Bee comes from, was the same way with Jon Stewart.
Like someone said below, her commercial promos are even annoying. Not because of politics, but because she doesn't come off likeable.
But TBS has become unwatchable all around, even without this show.
But late night talk has become the same. I really miss Craig Ferguson.

Cannot stand that woman. I give credit that some of her humor is insightful (like Olivers) but ultimately shes a waste of time. I pretty much stopped watching TBS altogether because even her commercials are annoying as hell...

I love Samantha Bee and while I agree with appromimately 75% of her opinions, her comedy is brilliant! Glad it's renewed again!
I reccomend her show to anyone who has their sense of humor working. To everyone else, change your channel to FoxNews. That seems to be what the hand-wringing part of society watches...
