The dramedy will end its run later this month.

Reports are out that CBS has cancelled God Friended Me after two seasons. The sad news comes as the dramedy winds down its sophomore run, with planned back-to-back episodes on April 26 now set to act as its series ender.
The hour-long show premiered in 2018, garnering decent viewership that ranked it as one of the top new broadcast shows that season despite mixed reviews. But falling ratings in Season 2 could not justify bringing it back for a third outing. Word is, though, that the writers were given advanced notice of the move, which enabled them to craft a fitting end to the story.
God Friended Me follows New York podcast host Miles Finer, who is an outspoken atheist. When he randomly receives a friend request from God on Facebook, it starts him down the path of becoming an agent of change in the lives and destinies of people around him.

I watched the first season, but I was letting these new ones pile up and finally deleted them. The actors and the plot twists just weren't doing it for me. I like a feel good show, please bring back touched by an angel.

This is very frustrating. This show was quite good. Very different and now we will never know the ending! Booo CBS. Someone else please pick up the show!

It was okay not sure it was anything like Early Edition other than helping people but a new take on that would be worth watching

I’m surprised at everyone’s reaction, in this time we needed a “feel good” show and this fit the bill. I agree it wasn’t as fun this year, with the “cancer” vibe, but it was something i could look forward to not bring me down.
