No Season 3 for the medieval drama.
May 7, 2020
It is being reported that History has cancelled Knightfall after two seasons. The move is not a complete surprise, as the cable network has not commented on the medieval drama's future in quite some time. The show's last renewal was in 2018 and it hasn't aired a new episode in almost a year.
Knightfall follows the Knights Templar - a powerful and mysterious military order of the Middle Ages entrusted to protect Christianity's precious relics. Taking place years after the fall of the city of Acre, the last stronghold in the Holy Land, a clue emerges suggesting the whereabouts of the lost Holy Grail. This sends the Templars on a dangerous mission to find the lost Cup of Christ.
Along with Knightfall, History has also cancelled Project Blue Book. This leaves the cable network with no ongoing scripted fare, as its last remaining series, Vikings, is currently in its final season.

Another nail in the coffin for anything that might inspire someone to look closer at history, while these shows may not be exactly historically accurate they did peak a viewers interest in reading more about the historical subject... I guess the world just needs more reality TV junkies and dumbed down morons in order to vote for moronic idiotic politicians of all nations.

Of course they cancelled it. It's paid actors employing their craft. Why would we keep quality programming on the air?

I liked the first season, the second was already a step down. And, considering the ending, I wasn't expecting a third season anyway.

I assumed it would happen. It sure took them long enough too decide. I really enjoyed the 1st season.
Will we be left with nothing but reality shows?

A good show, but history is getting rid of their scripted shows it seems. At least the last kingdom is still on netflix. Vikings is ending, project blue book is gone. Very sad news. Tbe medici has also ended on netflix..

I'm not really sure where they were going to go with it, if it did continue (They would have probably botched it up and had them get the holy grail back, then go to oak island and bury it
