It is being reported that Netflix has renewed #BlackAF for a second season. The good news comes two months following the comedy's freshman run, which has garnered a somewhat mixed critical reception.
From Black-ish creator Kenya Barris, the series follows Barris, who plays a fictional version of himself, and the rest of his family as they explore and navigate relationships, race issues, and culture while figuring out how to handle their newfound success in a modern world.
Look for Season 2 of #BlackAF in 2021.

99.5% of all Netflix shows get 2 seasons. This isn't surprising. In fact, I think there have only been 2 or 3 Netflix shows that DIDN'T get 2 seasons. I mean come on.. they gave Mr Iglesias 2 seasons.. that should tell you everything you need to know.

Meh, they cancelled Astronomy Club a few weeks ago.... don't think this is a race thing.

This is no surprise.
They did not renew it because it was a good show they only renewed it because they want to be seen as ''progressive'' and also of the backlash they would receive if they were to cancel a black show in this highly charged climate.
