The network has reversed its original renewal.

It is being reported that ABC has cancelled Stumptown after one season - walking back its original decision to renew the series back in May. The sad news is the latest in a recent trend of networks reversing renewals months after handing them out.
The drama premiered last fall and put in a decent showing during its 18-episode run, garnerning strong critical praise and respectable ratings on Wednesday nights. It appears ABC's decision is related to setbacks in filming due to the coronavirus pandemic, which has affected the futures of numerous shows this year.
Based on the Stumptown graphic novels, the series stars Cobie Smulders as Dex Parios, a less-than-perfect army veteran living in Portland, Oregon. She's quick-witted, carries a gambling debt, has a complicated love life, and takes care of her brother. She utilizes her military intelligence in her job as a private investigator, but her unapologetic nature makes her a target of dangerous criminals and often at odds with the local police.
LOL. People don't even know who to attack on here..LMAO
If networks keep cancelling good shows delayed by the pandemic, you have to wonder what they will put in its place.
And 1 person isn't keeping all of these brainless tv shows on the air, there are millions of brainless people out there.
The last election proved that.
