No Season 3 for the psychological horror anthology.
November 3, 2020
It is being reported that Hulu has cancelled Castle Rock after two seasons. The news comes nearly a year after the psychological horror drama wrapped its sophomore run on the streaming service.
The series premiered in 2018 and appeared to fare well early on. Critics praised its storytelling and well-rounded cast, while Hulu claimed its debut was its most-consumed original premiere ever. The critical acclaim continued in Season 2, though it is not known how many viewers returned to the series.
Based on various characters and settings from Stephen King's novels, Castle Rock combines the mythological scale and intimate character storytelling of the author's works, weaving together a saga of light and darkness that plays out in the Maine town of Castle Rock. Being an anthology, each season of the show was a self-contained story.

I can not believe this has been cancelled. It is so hard to find anything based on Stephen King work that is good and this was great.

This one was good. I loved the mix of Salems Lot and Annie Wilkes story. The first season was confusing but also very well written and acted. I was almost certain they would have picked up another season. That's what I get for assuming.

Gotta love how people turn a site about TV shows into politics and make no sense at the same time. If this was "The Hill" or :"Reddit" I'd ask you masters of intellect how exactly do you think anything is going to change with the constitution, but other than one exists I doubt most of you even know what's in it.

This is BS!!! There should be a rule that no steven king based shows get canceled!!! The least they coukd do is shop it to CW or FOX... I'm gleaning more and more towards streaming shows that have completed over hoping a show won't get cancelled, streaming or not!!!

No!! IMO The 2nd season was the best. I loved seeing a young Annie Wilkes story. I honestly thought this was going to continue.
What a freaking bummer. :(
Sad Face Sad Face

@GOEZE Good thing I live in America where I have the freedom to speak, or in this case write. If you have a problem with it change the constitution. Or you can just keep riding my D!@{.
