Netflix announced today that The Umbrella Academy has been picked up for a third season. The good news comes three months following the superhero drama's sophomore release, which again drew a favorable response from both viewers and critics.
Adapted from the Dark Horse Comics series of the same name, the show follows a group of estranged siblings with extraordinary superpowers who are reunited after their father's death. But in doing so they discover past family secrets with far-reaching consequences, and must work together to stop an emerging threat to humanity.
Another 10 episodes have been ordered for Season 3 of The Umbrella Academy, matching the length of its first two seasons. Production is expected to begin in early 2021, with a likely return later in the year.

This show is so much fun. The kid who plays Number 5 is so brilliant and funny. I can see him playing a part when he gets older like Al Pacino in The Godfather. Great show!
