'Virgin River' Renewed For Season 3

The romantic drama will continue in 2021.

Netflix announced today that Virgin River has been picked up for a second season. Coming just three weeks after the drama returned for its sophomore run, the good news was delivered via a video of the show's cast thanking fans for making Season 2 a success.

Based on Robyn Carr's bestselling book series, the show follows a nurse practitioner looking for a fresh start. After moving from Los Angeles to a remote northern California town, she is surprised by the welcome she receives and who she finds there.

The streaming service has ordered another 10 episodes for Season 3 of Virgin River, which will return in 2021.

This is a great show. Glad to see it got picked up for a season 3, but what the heck is the deal with only 10 episodes. That's not enough episodes.....

I really love this show. My question is why are the seasons so short? 10 episodes?
