Word is out that Central Park has been picked up for a third season. Co-creator Loren Bouchard took to Twitter with the good news, which comes seven months after the animated comedy wrapped its freshman run on Apple TV+. The show was originally given a two-season order before it premiered.
The series follows an unconventional family who live in and manage the bustling Central Park in New York City. When a wealthy hotel heiress tries to turn the park into condos, Owen and his clan must do their best to fend off this threat to what they love dearly.
Season 2 of Central Park premieres on Friday, June 25.
Seasons 2 and 3 of Central Park mean 29 more episodes, and something like 115 new songs. 115! The people who make this show dazzle me with their talent and ambition and will. Apple and 20th have shown their will too. I’m honored to be a part of something with this much chutzpah.— loren bouchard (@lorenbouchard) March 10, 2021
