The quiz show is coming back for a second season.

ABC announced today that The Chase has been picked up for a second season. The good news comes just over a month after the game show wrapped its freshman run, and the wait for new episodes won't be a long one, as a return has already been scheduled for June.
Adapted from the British series of the same name, the fast-paced quiz show sees contestants face off against an all-time Jeopardy great from either Ken Jennings, James Holzhauer, or Brad Rutter, who will be determined to stop them from winning cash prizes. The competitors must think as quickly as possible if they want to outwit the Chaser as they answer a number of questions across a range of topics.
Look for Season 2 of The Chase on June 6 at 9:00pm.

brooke burns and the beast are by farrrrr better then this weak imitation. the host can stay on her even worse “the view” talk show fluff. the jeopardy guys fake commentary can go too, as jeff posted earlier.

Great quiz show! Those Jeopardy guys are so smart. Even when they guess they usually make an educated guess that turns out to be right!

Nice to hear an intellectual show is returning rather than a masked this or that. I would recommend a few tweaks though.
First, make the questions shorter in the building phase. When it takes 7 or 8 seconds to ask a question it takes too big of a bite of what little time there is in the round.
Show what the Chaser's pick is in the head to head rounds, it could add a bit more drama. It would show us what they chose, and not leave us with just a glib remark that may only infer that they knew the answer.
My only real complaint is that nearly all the contestants play it too safe, but that's not the show's fault. I'm looking forward to season 2 (and also waiting to see who succeeds the late, great Alex Trebek on Jeopardy).

The host I just can't get behind and the 3 guys talking crap is also annoying.
