It is being reported that This Is Us will be coming to its expected end after its already-ordered sixth season. The popular drama was last renewed exactly two years ago, where it received a supersized three-season pickup that takes it to its now-final season.
The show has been a reliable performer for the network over the years, consistently ranking as one of its top-rated scripted series. Today's news doesn't come as a surprise, though, as creator Dan Fogelman has previously spoken about a six-season plan for the show.
Look for the final season of This Is Us to premiere as a midseason entry this time around during the 2021-2022 season.

I remember them saying 6 seasons all along, so I'm not too sad about this. Great show and I still enjoy it!

I like when shows are able to go out on their own terms. Tell the story and wrap it exactly how they want to. Sucks to loose good shows but nice when they are complete.
