Season 2 of the drama will stream later this year.
May 18, 2021
It was announced today that Evil will be moving to Paramount+ for its long-awaited second season. It has been over a year-and-a-half since the drama earned an early pickup after a strong start in the fall of 2019.
The reason behind the move to the streaming service is seemingly at least in-part because CBS already has a full slate of dramas on tap for the 2021-2022 season. On top of that, Season 1 of the series was a fairly strong performer digitally compared to its linear run, garnering healthy numbers on both CBS All Access and Netflix.
From Robert and Michelle King, who created 'The Good Wife' and 'The Good Fight', Evil stars Mike Colter and Katja Herbers as a priest-in-training and a skeptical clinical psychologist who investigate unexplained phenomena such as demonic possession, miracles, and supernatural occurrences, as they try to determine if there is a scientific explanation behind it.
No premiere date has been announced for Season 2 of Evil at this time, but it will likely debut later this year.

To be fair, you do have to wait an extra day on some and on others. well up to a year depending on what cable channel, but then how many dvr record and wait anyway. But we are all adults and you have the right to pay for what you think is best for you:)

I was a non believer of streaming until I got most of the companies that stream and relised it was half of what I paid for cable, so the cable was cut off instead, you can pay either way, with commericals or without, still cheaper then cable either way. But of course it is up to the individual, at least the programs were not canceled yet. I watch every program and more then I use to on cable and they do show all there stuff that normally comes on cable, you just get all the extra's, I do have to say I have an atenna for just the local news:)

CBS needs to jump off a cliff. Like SEAL Team this is one show I watched in Real Time not my DVR, it was so good. I am NOT paying you extra money for Paramount +, greedy double dipping scumbags. You will probably still make me watch commercials too after paying extra money. I'm out.

I'm not paying more money to follow this show. Pay way too much for cable already. CBS sucks.

I'm not paying for P+ because they want to pull a bait and switch with a show. Sadly I can see them all doing this BS in the future. I'll DL it off the internet and watch it or forget about it completely.

I pay less for streaming then I did for cable and no commercial so I canceled cable. I will give this show another go.
