The Paramount+ drama will conclude later this year.

Paramount+ announced today that Evil will be coming to an end after its upcoming fourth season. The news comes a year-and-a-half after the drama received its last renewal. While filming on Season 4 wrapped months ago, the streaming service has stated that four bonus episodes have been ordered to ensure the story ends with a proper finale.
"Robert and Michelle King created a unique and deeply entertaining way of exploring the intersection of religion and science," said Jeff Grossman, Executive Vice President, Programming, Paramount+. "We thank Robert, Michelle and the immensely talented cast and crew of Evil and are incredibly proud of their collective work on the series. We can't wait to see what's in store for these characters, in what is sure to be a nail-biting, wild ride of a final season."
"We want to thank Paramount+ for giving us four bonus episodes to end Evil in the world in style," said Robert and Michelle King, series co-creators, showrunners and executive producers. "We will miss this show and cast. In many ways it was a dream project, but sadly evil will outlast Evil. See you in May."
Evil stars Mike Colter and Katja Herbers as a priest-in-training and a skeptical clinical psychologist who investigate unexplained phenomena such as demonic possession, miracles, and supernatural occurrences, as they try to determine if there is a scientific explanation behind it.
The fourth and final season of Evil will premiere this May.

Deserved more seasons. Truly a original tv show. But at least we get a ending .

You get a decent show and what? The Writers Can't perform? Weak! Get a Write-In Campaign going. Write for the long game and you-too can have a Blue Bloods/Gunsmoke type looooong series. Remember the Pen (or Cyber-Pen) is mightier than - Cancellation (which sucks, of course). Bring it Back! I said Please - with your favorite topping - on top.

What a shame! Seems like since the writers and actors settled their disputes with the studios, the shows are falling like dominos. Guess now that they have to pay the help a fair wage for their services, they have been forced to cut costs by dropping shows like this and cranking up the number of "reality" programs and game shows. Too bad. This was one show that I could've seen going on for some time, cuz the premise, the production, and the cast were way above average.

At this rate Paramount + and Max will have no original shows left. They’ve cancelled everything.
