The military drama is moving to a new home this year.
May 18, 2021
It was announced today that SEAL Team has been officially picked up for a fifth season. It won't be on CBS though - at least not all of it - as the military drama will be on the move to Paramount+ after its first few episodes start things off on CBS this fall.
The hour-long series had been seen as on-the-bubble for a renewal, so today's move to the streaming service likely helped it secure Season 5 - though some longtime fans will likely be disappointed in its departure from broadcast network television.
SEAL Team follows an elite unit of Navy SEALs composed of a tight-knit group of patriots with fearless dedication. Deployed on clandestine ops around the world, its members embark on these dangerous, high-stakes missions knowing the toll it takes on themselves and their families.

So we are forced to purchase streaming services to watch our favorite shows??? No thanks. I pay enough for Directv.

I cut the cable/satellite cord last year. I pay for internet anyway, so Paramount+ is a steal compared to cable. So I won't miss an episode.

Hahaha! If Gordon thought Seal Team sucked, I wonder what he thought about that reboot CBS show 'MacGyver'! Heck, Seal Team is absolute GOLD compared to MacGyver. (Fyi - I'm with the others here....will not be paying extra to watch it on Para +...no way...)

Bush-league move by a bush-league network. I hate CBS.

I pay more than enough for TV. I won't pay more so this one drops. I liked it but it was getting long in the tooth. And starting to lean left.

Ridiculous. We have Paramount+ because we got a year for free, but way to spit on your loyal fans by moving to a banal streaming service. Save the new shows and old reruns for that. Don't split your fanbase, which will ultimately lead to cancellation in another year when the viewers don't follow.

Excellent show. Happy for the renewal wherever it airs. Don't worry @Gordon. I'm sure they will insert one of those heart stopping reality shows in its spot.
