The military drama is moving to a new home this year.
May 18, 2021
It was announced today that SEAL Team has been officially picked up for a fifth season. It won't be on CBS though - at least not all of it - as the military drama will be on the move to Paramount+ after its first few episodes start things off on CBS this fall.
The hour-long series had been seen as on-the-bubble for a renewal, so today's move to the streaming service likely helped it secure Season 5 - though some longtime fans will likely be disappointed in its departure from broadcast network television.
SEAL Team follows an elite unit of Navy SEALs composed of a tight-knit group of patriots with fearless dedication. Deployed on clandestine ops around the world, its members embark on these dangerous, high-stakes missions knowing the toll it takes on themselves and their families.

This move is totally wrong...we pay too much for TV now and we have to subscribe....not a chance...bummed I can't watch the show anymore after this season

Well that's kind of dumb. This was a good show, but do REALLY expect people to pay for another streaming service to watch this? Know your audience CBS!!!

Bad move CBS. You're not putting that show on that Streaming service Paramount+ because most people can't pay for it; how about SEAL Team stays on that same network since it's owned instead!

I also pay way too much for Optimum. Been watching all along but I guess the season finale will be my finale. Too bad. And to split the season like that?? I feel like they hold these shows for ransom. It’s something we want, but we gotta pay up. Not me.

I'm relieved, I was only watching out of habit, now I can stop.

God D#$@$ -- This is one of the shows I wait for each week to watch, and now I have to pay extra for it? I already sub to 3 service's AND cable, I am not buying a 4th. Sick of the entire entertainment industry as a whole right now, they can all go to Hades!

This is nuts. I’m not paying more money on top of what I pay now for dish. This is not right and I will say goodbye to Seal Team. It’s a shame that these streaming services are doing this. Take a good show and move it to streaming so they can get more money out of us, like I said no thanks. I’ll miss the show but not that much to pay for paramount +. Total rip-off.

Way to screw over your fans CBS! Cable costs so much, who is going to pay extra to follow a show that will probably be cancelled in a year anyway?

I pay way too much for Xfinity as it is!!! This is the new trend sending shows to streaming and for me it's a hard pass, just NO!
