No Season 3 for the Gabriel Iglesias comedy.
July 2, 2021
It is being reported that Netflix has cancelled Mr. Iglesias after two seasons. The news comes nearly seven months after the comedy concluded its sophomore run, which was released in two parts in mid and late 2020.
It was a bad day for comedies on the streaming service, as three others also got the ax. 'Country Comfort', 'Bonding', and 'The Crew' will all not be moving forward with additional seasons. The genre in general has been a challenge for Netflix, as many of its scripted comedies have had their runs cut short as of late.
Mr. Iglesias stars comedian Gabriel Iglesias, who plays a good-natured history teacher who works at his alma mater, Woodrow Wilson High School in Long Beach, California. He spends his days trying to make a difference in the lives of his smart, but underperforming, students.

Racist AF against white people. There is not an accurate depiction of a normal white person anywhere. I get this is a comedy but the over top stereotypes are Caucasian focused only on Intersectional politics that should not be televised. Where is the token white guy? There are some gems Comedy wise but the constant anti-white propaganda is apparent and truly not appreciated. So I guess the white woman who is the trophy sexual conquest and the drunk white athletic coach is normal everywhere? Complete BS. Where is the Hispanic or black role models aside from the main character? Where is the tolerant and “normal” white person? Peace out and good riddance. Laugh track required because a live audience would have called it out.

Really enjoyed this show and its family oriented comedy.
Sad to see it go.

The only thing that this show proved is that when you give a platform and a voice to minorities, you start to realize that they are as racist as the supposed "white man" they all seem to hate.

I watched both seasons and enjoyed them. ImIt was a cute show with a good ensemble cast. I am anxiously awaiting Iglesias’ next stand-up comedy show.

I'm not sad to see this go, I stopped watching this show after the first season, Iglesias was a racist and made racist comments all the time, not funny or cool.

A bit sad to see it go. I just finished it a couple weeks ago and found it entertaining. Much better than some of the stuff that Netflix has been renewing.
