it was cancelled because netflix has lots of shows. few run past three seasons. But sci fi and fantasy are really expensive to make. I suggest the incredible lost in space which has it's final 3rd season this year. Even the hugely rated lucifer got only two series on netlix. added to the three from the cw. And over a billion watched that last series! house of cards did a much longer run than most netflix series. but as they grew , they seemed to cancel shows very quickly. I do think that they could at least do several more of manifest and make money. It's not as expensive as cursed would have been to make. No period costumes, no mutant makeup, sword battles. But certainly I loved 'cursed' and would have loved to see a second season. We do have sweet tooth though which got a billion viewers , will it go past three seasons? I doubt it. it is expensive and it's netflix. and netflix passed on manifest sad to say. I think the days of streaming or other channels taking cancelled shows is ending. Lat man standing managed to go for 9 seasons? wow. that's a rarity. even the fantastic the expanse got only three seasons on amazon.com. with three from sci fibut man that show is sooo well done.

I think this is why I don't start watching series that stream right away. Usually wait for a 2nd or even 3rd to get announced before I invest time. I didn't watch this one, was curious to what it was. Like "Away", I wanted to watch, but as it hasn't gotten picked up for season 2, not sure I will watch...much lower on totem pole for me.

Well heck. I liked this. But oa, this and manifest are all great but doomed. Manifest could have done more , great ratings on Netflix. But nope

More and more I hesitate to invest time in a new series. Best result I've had was "Irregulars". It actually wrapped up the story line in one season, leaving room for 2nd season but not a cliffhanger. Now I look for older shows with 2 or 3 existing seasons and some indication of a real finale

It's ashame. It was a nice fantacy show. I liked it. But luckly it's based on three books, so start reading, if you like the show...

This is what happens when a series takes an entire season just to set itself up. (That Millar-world one that got cancelled is also guilty of this.) It did so well at the end of the season, and I was looking forward for a Season 2, but I guess a lot of other viewers weren't. Plus, this Arthurian Legend thing is getting a little stale. But it seems that is one of the only works left in the public domain for people to adapt, and this speaks to the state of affairs in the copyright world (thank Disney for this). Too bad. I'd watch Katherine Langford in anything. May she move on to achieve many greater feats and role...maybe a Marvel movie deal will set her up to grace our screens for decades to come.

Damn it, get your stuff together Netflix. Renew this & Manifest. Also, renew Travelers & the OA, or else!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
