The spin-off series will continue on GAC Family.

It was announced today that When Hope Calls has been picked up for a second season. A spin-off of 'When Calls The Heart', the series aired its freshman run in 2019 and appeared to be headed for cancellation with no news on its future in the two years since.
That changed today though, as newly-rebranded channel GAC Family (formerly Great American Country) will be bringing it back with new episodes this December. The news was accompanied by word that Lori Loughlin will be reprising her role as Abigail Stanton in a guest starring capacity when the show returns.
When Hope Calls follows sisters Lillian and Grace, who open an orphanage together in the 1916 Western town of Brookfield. Among the cattle rancher traditions and the growing town around them, they each search for their own happiness while finding ways to overcome the challenges of helping the children in their care. Along the way, they discover the meaning of community, acceptance, and love as they create the family they've always wanted.
Season 2 of When Hope Calls premieres on December 18 on GAC Family.

I'm also curious what GAC Family channel it'll be on and if my current cable channel line-up will carry that channel without me having to pay more; and on a related note, if there will be an AppleTV app.
