No Season 2 for the comic-based drama.
October 17, 2021
Word is out that FX has cancelled Y: The Last Man after just one season. Showrunner Eliza Clark took to Twitter with the sad news, stating her commitment to finding the drama a new home. The show is currently seven episodes into its run on FX on Hulu, with three remaining before the now-series finale on November 1.
Based on the comic book series of the same name, Y: The Last Man takes place after a catastrophic event decimates every mammal with a Y chromosome except for one man and his pet monkey. The survivors work to restore what was lost and build something better out of their post-apocalyptic world.

I hope they get to wrap it up. I like it, but mostly because I want to know what happened and how Y and Amp survived.

I knew this would be woke crap. When will liberals realize that the vast majority of people want to see shows with normal people.

Well another woke show bites the dust.is anyone surprised? Maybe someday Hollywood will realize Twitter isn't a barometer on what normal people want.

I was a big fan of the comic and had been enjoying this series a lot too. Shame it didn’t last long but I appreciated seeing this story adapted to tv.

errmmm.... "We had a GENDER DIVERSE team of brilliant artists, LED BY WOMEN AT ALMOST EVERY CORNER....."
Someone clearly doesn't understand what "diverse" means.
It's been drab, boring, unexciting. The character of 355 is interesting, but beyond that, it's a wash completely.
In a country of more than 300 million people, you'd think there'd be more than ONE man and his monkey left.

Did the man and his monkey score? For posterity. Talk about cliff hangers.

I knew this was coming from the beginning. Ridiculously woke propaganda. I struggled to watch a show that took every opportunity to insult me no matter how much I wanted it to work.
