No Season 2 for the paranormal drama.
November 9, 2021
Word is out that SurrealEstate has been cancelled after just one season. The Canadian drama, which airs stateside on Syfy, wrapped its 10-episode run in mid-September. Creator George R. Olson took to Twitter with the sad news, expressing his intention of finding the show a new home.
The series follows realtor Nick Roman and his elite team, who specialize in handling haunted and possessed homes that literally scare away potential buyers. Their job involves researching, investigating, and dealing with the restless spirits in order to create closure - and closings - even as they struggle with demons of their own.

I am broken hearted about the cancelation of this show. It was a great mix of fun and sci-fi. It reminded me of the fun shows like Eureka and Warehouse 13.

I bit my lip waiting for season 2 and watched every episode without fail. What episode touched my ❤ was Ft GhostChild when Luke had to help little George crossover. The music in that episode tugged at my soul. I won't soon forget the sight and sounds displayed quite that way. I envisioned that as the perfect scenario to help someone crossover.

SyFy used to be the goto site for this genre. Cancelling shows like this that take a new approach to fantasy only continue to decrease their reputation.

Cancelled? Ugh. No! I loved this show! Yea it could be cheesy and over the top but that's one of the things I liked about it. It wasn't super serious. The acting was good and each episode had different story lines while still connecting to previous tales. I hope it gets picked up by someone else but I won't hold out much hope on that.
