It is being reported that Peacock has cancelled A.P. Bio after four seasons. The news comes three months after the comedy released its now-final season, which was its second on the streaming service.
Creator Mike O'Brien made the announcement on his Twitter page, thanking the show's fans as well as Peacock for the two extra seasons it got after being cancelled by NBC after its sophomore run.
A.P. Bio follows a philosophy scholar who, after losing out on his dream job, takes a position as a high school Advanced Placement Biology teacher. But he has plans far beyond teaching biology, including using his classroom full of honor roll students to help him mentally break his job-stealing nemesis and win back the position that he feels is rightfully his.
I’m sad to announce that AP Bio will not be renewed for a 5th season. But mostly I’m feeling grateful right now. To all the fans who watched the show and fought for it to come back after the cancellation! And to Peacock & UTV for giving us two more seasons after that! (all 42 eps
