The CW announced today that Walker has been renewed for a third season. The good news comes ahead of the 12th episode of the drama's sophomore run, which returns March 31 from a three-week break.
A reimagining of 1990s drama 'Walker, Texas Ranger,' the show follows the adventures of widowed father of two Cordell Walker, who has returned home to Austin after being undercover for two years. He now turns his attention to reconnecting with his creative son and his rebellious teenage daughter while tackling other family issues with his ADA brother, perceptive mother, and traditional father.
Look for Season 3 of Walker to premiere as part of the 2022-2023 season this fall.

walker is awesome great story line if people don't like it they don't have watch it easy as that..... hope it has 7 more seasons

I agree with Sammi. If you're going to call the show Walker then give us Walker. Otherwise call the show "A Texas Law Enforcement Officer with a lot of family angst." He doesn't have to be Chuck - the actor should make it his own character... just not this one.

They should have just called it Texas Ranger because this is not Walker. I'm a huge fan of Padalecki but the show has no Walker whatsoever in it. Walker had the martial arts stuff, the flying side-thrust and spinning back kicks, the judo throws and arm bars. I'm not seeing that in this one.

Maybe trim the cast, otherwise solid show. I like Walker's nervous studder. He is not trying to be Chuck's Walker. Nobody could be. Maybe less of the family, more catching bad guys. Walker should be a little more fun.
