Word is out that Walker has been cancelled by The CW after four seasons. The news comes with six episodes remaining in the drama's now-final run, with its series finale scheduled to air on June 26. Star Jared Padalecki took to Instagram with a heartfelt note to fans. See his post below. The CW also confirmed the cancellation.

"We want to thank the entire cast, crew, writers, directors and producers of Walker for their hard work and dedication over four incredible seasons," wrote the network in a statement. "We also want to give a special thanks to star and executive producer Jared Padalecki, who has been a member of The CW family for over 20 years and was integral to some of the biggest hits on the network."

A reimagining of 1990s drama 'Walker, Texas Ranger,' the show follows the adventures of widowed father of two Cordell Walker, who has returned home to Austin after being undercover for two years. He now turns his attention to reconnecting with his creative son and his rebellious teenage daughter while tackling other family issues with his ADA brother, perceptive mother, and traditional father.
