No Season 2 for the supernatural horror series.
March 24, 2022
It is being reported that Archive 81 has been cancelled by Netflix after just one season. The news comes two months after the horror drama released its 8-episode freshman run on the streaming service. The show didn't really sustain much buzz after its release, though it fared quite well with critics.
Based on the horror podcast of the same name, the series follows an archivist who takes a job reconstructing the videotaped work of a documentary filmmaker. Soon he finds himself pulled into the vortex of a mystery involving the missing director and a demonic cult, becoming obsessed with saving her from a fate she met 25 years ago.

Ugh, seriously? I was looking forward to a second season. This show was a slow burn for me, but I got invested. Damn it.

@Tim I believe Sherry may have meant that “her” days paying for Netflix is numbered due to their increased rates and the amount of shows that she likes that are being cancelled. Not that she believes that her monthly payment and her monthly payment alone will somehow affect their bottom line. Just sayin.

@Tim who's paying 15 for netflix? thought prices increased?
Anyways was going to watch it.. still might bc I heard it was good. Netflix cancel everything nowadays so i'm not shocked.

@Sherry. Netflix days are numbered. Funniest comment of the year. Netflix is worth 176 billion dollars. They will try and stumble through the loss of your $15. That being said, this show was mildly entertaining but lost its way before the season ended.

I will take it off my list. Netflix days are numbered. Raised rates and too many shows are ending.

This has angered me.

Oh, no ending now. It was interesting , because it was about the past 1981, and Even 2006 is long gone. Oh well.
