No Season 3 for the Steve Carell comedy.
April 29, 2022
It is being reported that Netflix has cancelled Space Force after two seasons. The news comes just two months after the workplace comedy released its sophomore run, which aired earlier this year after a nearly two-year break between seasons.
As the title suggests, the half-hour series follows members of the Space Force, the sixth major division of the United Stated Armed Forces that was created in 2018 to defend satellites and perform other space-related jobs. Spearheading the task is General Naird, played by Steve Carell, who begrudgingly teams up with an eccentric scientist to assemble the military's newest agency.

Right, this is not about a "woke" show, thinking that just shows you didn't watch it.
Americans have a need to define everything as left or right. Grow up. This was a comedy with great actors with a wink to Trump? OK. So what?
I loved the interactions between Malkovich and Carrell. They seemed to like each other a lot. Too bad it ended but maybe better this way as indeed they seemed to run out of ideas, which is a common thing for parodies.

This show started as a meme to mock President Trump. Theres no use denying it. We also all know the left cant meme and everything woke turns to sh!t. I genuinely tried watching the first episode but it was so cringe I just couldnt make it through.
If they wanted to make a show about Space Force they couldve done something so much better, perhaps not a comedy even.

The show had some funny moments and some good episodes, but many were a miss as well and it seemed like the 2nd season was just a random mess of things.
Still, it was OK and it passed the time. Better than a lot of other stuff on TV.

I really struggled through the first season and don't think I got through 2 episodes of season 2... Really disappointed with such an amazing cast that this is what they did with it...

This was a mess of a show from the very beginning. It was painful to watch such an epic cast wasted because of dismal writing. Clearly, only huge amounts of money kept it going, and now Netflix is trying to save not just some, but lots of money.

After Stranger Things end so does my subscription, Hell I'm getting to the point where I'll cancel Netflix anyways and just buy Stranger Things on DVD

Figured.... season 2 was largely unfunny and rambling. Season 1 was started as a joke based on the notion of "Space Force" from the White House... then they just grew weary of telling the joke.. it was fairly obvious. Season 2 had no direction. I'd wager the writers/producers were honestly surprised it was picked up for a second season and quickly rushed to get something done. It showed.

Thank you, Netflix!! Now Peacock, I assume you already have the contracts written up for Steve Carell and Greg Daniels, let's get those signed asap! NBC Universal, give them anything they want. You cannot have a repeat of the Will & Grace reboot fiasco. Spare no expense!! Do no more than 10 episodes per season and you're not allowed to bring anybody back from seasons 8 and 9 except for Plop. Let's go!!
