No Season 3 for the Steve Carell comedy.
April 29, 2022
It is being reported that Netflix has cancelled Space Force after two seasons. The news comes just two months after the workplace comedy released its sophomore run, which aired earlier this year after a nearly two-year break between seasons.
As the title suggests, the half-hour series follows members of the Space Force, the sixth major division of the United Stated Armed Forces that was created in 2018 to defend satellites and perform other space-related jobs. Spearheading the task is General Naird, played by Steve Carell, who begrudgingly teams up with an eccentric scientist to assemble the military's newest agency.

I can't say I'm surprised. It had a lot of good moments but the various plot threads were all over the place.

Well, i liked this show but expected many shows to go with netflixes current situation. They produce a huge amount of material. Even so few netflix shows ever got to three seasons throughout its history. Thankfully the last kingdom got three from them to add to the first two.

What is going on with Netflix? Yeah you lost a bunch of subscribers, but you think that cancelling a bunch of shows will help you *gain* subscribers??

Locke & Key and Stranger Things are both ending. No reason to keep Netflix after that.

Now we will never find out why Lisa Kudro's character went to jail.

Saw this coming... with Netflix's stock losing billions in value lately, that's a lot of money taken away from their in-house development budget. If a show isn't drawing huge numbers and is expensive to make - it will be gone sooner than later.
