No Season 2 for the medical drama.

Word is out that Good Sam has been cancelled by CBS after its first season. The news comes a week after the medical drama wrapped its freshman run, which failed to draw solid viewership and ultimately garnered mixed reviews from critics.
The series follows Dr. Samantha Griffith, who is learning the ropes as Lakeshore Sentinel Hospital's new top surgeon after its legendary leader, who is also her father, fell into a coma. But things are now complicated, as he has since recovered and wants to resume his duties. This results in a clash of family wills between the old guard and modern methods in a life-and-death business.

Disappointed. I actually liked this show. I haven’t seen the season finale yet and now it’s pointless to watch it. CBS you suck.

I watched the first episode and it was just felt like a waste of talent. The script was very cliched and the medical aspect of the show came across as boring and flat compared to something like, say, House M.D. or The Good Doctor. I know those shows are not realistic either, but it just didn't do anything for me. Everything was predictable. If you've seen ER or Chicago Hope or Chicago Med, you've seen this show.

Can’t say I’m surprised. Sophia Bush would’ve caused some behind the scenes drama and either left or demanded weird changes had the show stayed on much longer. She doesn’t have a good track record.

CBS: you messed around with this show (and others) so much. Would have an episode and then go 2 or more weeks with no episodes… and you expect to remain faithful. As others have said it gradually got better and, I think, was turning into a pretty decent show.

Can’t believe some of you made it to episode two! I watched the first episode, threw up in my mouth a little, and never went back! It was horrible and that’s too bad because I really like Sophia Bush. Hopefully she’ll find something worth watching next time!

Nooo…!!!! I thought the same thing after watching two episodes but continued to watch and it started getting really good! CBS, NBC and CW have been busy today.

I only watched 2 episodes and stopped watching. It was not very good and with so many other medical dramas out there, I knew it was going to be canceled.
