The drama will not return for Season 2.

It is being reported that NBC has cancelled The Endgame after just one season. The news comes less than two weeks after the drama wrapped its freshman run. The move was expected, as the show struggled to find a sizeable audience and ultimately garnered mixed reviews.
The series followed recently captured international arms dealer Elena Federova, who arranges various coordinated bank heists throughout New York City for a mysterious purpose. Val Turner is a relentless and socially outcast FBI agent who realizes that Elena's plan is bigger than the banks, and has made it her mission to stop her.

There was maybe a clever movie or even a limited series here, but a series? C'mon.

Too bad... I guess it was too smart to be on TV. I loved it.

I watched the first episode and was like - yes I like this, could be good.
Then (like someone else I read) I don't trust networks any more.
I saved them all to watch when I knew it was renewed. Now it is not.
I am bummed I was interested in how it would continue and what would happen.
I won't purge yet, there are chances it can go elsewhere.

I’m not surprised. Each episode had same format. It got to be so transparent. The actors are seasoned performers, but there was something unbelievable about their interactions.

I really liked this show. One of the few shows that my mother, sister and myself loved. It ended on what I call a soft cliff hanger, enough to set up for a new season, but still concludes the first. Though I hate that there won't be another.

The cast looked good, but I don’t trust networks anymore. I was going to binge it if it was renewed - looks like I just freed up some hours.

I wanted so much to like this show but I don't think I made it through the first episode. I too loved the Blacklist - for about 3 or 4 seasons and then gave up on it too. I think Tphi is right, the networks keep making room for more and more game shows, contrived "talent" shows (America's Got Extreme Masked Talented Voices?)

@Chris: It ended in a cliff hanger BUT you can still watch as honestly it does not matter as the story was convoluted IMO

Can anybody tell me if it came to a conclusion. I still have half the episodes to watch and want to know if it’s worth finishing or if I should just erase it. I don’t wanna finish it if it ends in a cliffhanger.
