The comedy will return for the 2022-2023 season.

ABC announced today that Home Economics has been renewed for a third season. The good news comes ahead of next week's sophomore finale, which will cap a successful run that saw the comedy more than triple its episode count over Season 1.
The half-hour series premiered in 2021 as a midseason entry with a short 7-episode order. Season 2 returned in the fall, and after a solid start it was quickly topped up to a full season of 22 episodes. Since then it has remained a decent performer for the network.
Home Economics follows three adult siblings living very different lives. One is living comfortably as one of the 1%, one is part of the middle class, and the other is struggling to get by. Thus their complicated relationship can be heartwarming, super uncomfortable, and often frustrating.
Look for Season 3 of Home Economics this fall as part of the 2022-2023 season.

Oh, good! The longer we went without news, the more worried I was getting that it wouldn't be back.
