The comedy will not return for Season 4.

It is being reported that ABC has cancelled Home Economics after three seasons. The comedy was one of two shows from the network's 2022-2023 lineup that was awaiting a renewal decision.
The half-hour series premiered in 2021 as a midseason entry with a short 7-episode order. Season 2 returned in the fall, and after a solid start it was quickly topped up to a full season of 22 episodes. Season 3 scaled back a bit to 13, airing its now-series finale back in January of this year.
Home Economics follows three adult siblings living very different lives. One is living comfortably as one of the 1%, one is part of the middle class, and the other is struggling to get by. Thus their complicated relationship can be heartwarming, super uncomfortable, and often frustrating.

I am so sad that this incredibly funny show had been canceled. I was really looking forward to the new season. The actors are very talented and had great chemistry. I think itbwas a BIG mistake to cancel this wonderful show. If there is any way to fight for the return of the show, I will be on board!

Too bad, I really like the show. It was a real ensemble cast that provided laughs even when the plot was predictable. But broadcast TV seems determined to shed itself of anything entertaining.

This was a really good show, especially for Network TV. What a stupid time to cancel it too, right as there’s a lot of positivity about Topher Grace right now.
