Samantha Bee's late-night show will not return for Season 8
July 25, 2022
It is being reported that TBS has cancelled Full Frontal with Samantha Bee after seven seasons. The move comes as part of the cable network's recent shift to cut back on original content.
The Emmy Award-winning show had been touted as one of television's top ad-supported late-night series among young adults, with episodes regularly garnering over 3 million viewers across linear, VOD, and digital platforms. It aired over 200 episodes during its 7-season run, with its final episode airing June 23.
Longtime 'Daily Show' correspondent Samantha Bee hosted Full Frontal, using her unique comedic voice to give a nuanced view of the country's current political and cultural issues. Additionally, international stories are covered with segments from countries such as Russia, Germany, and Iraq.

Like Ash I will not miss her commercials. I watched reruns of Big Bang Theory a lot on TBS and have to mute the TV during her 30 seconds of lies and propaganda.
Sadly she will probably end up on some other show/network because Hollywood puts ideology above all else.
That phrase doesn't mean squat after Andrew Cuomo was given an Emmy. The Pulitzer is the same way.
This woman is not funny. She tries to get by on the Amy Schumer style of comedy where she tries to be as vile as possible to get laughs.
I don't think any of the current late-night crop are funny because they all come across as angry and vindictive. But at least those other losers (check who is beating all of them in the ratings) can occasionally make a non-political joke that is funny. Bee is incapable of it.
