The fantasy drama will conclude its story in 2023.

Amazon has announced that Carnival Row will be returning in February for its long-awaited second season - which will also be its last. The fantasy drama premiered in 2019 and was actually given an early renewal before its first episode aired. All has been quiet for over three years, but viewers will now get to see how the story concludes.
Orlando Bloom and Cara Delevingne star in the series, which is set in a Victorian fantasy world where mythological immigrant creatures who have fled their war-torn homeland have arrived in their city. Tensions rise between the humans and the growing creature population, which is feared and forbidden to live or fly with freedom. The fragile peace breaks down when a string of murders reveals a monster that nobody could imagine. But in darkness there lies hope, as a human detective and a faerie rekindle a dangerous affair.

I watched the first season only months ago. I thought it was pretty good and can't wait to see second season. I do understand why people are put off. As I have seen in the comments, people have waited a long time for second season. Only to find out it's been cancelled. With so much content to watch in so many ways now. it's hard for almost any show to catch on before getting cancelled. And I know I am not saying anything most people don't already know! It is a shame this is a good show! One of the better of its genre, On any platform, channel, network. and so, it goes.

I basically lost interest a couple of years ago towards the end of season one and figured that there would never be a season two and at this point I don’t care that there actually is because I completely forgot everything that happened in season one and can’t be bothered to rewatch it.
Huh?

Honestly with this much time I thought it was cancelled. Hopefully it ends strong.

Glad we FINALLY get a second season, but only to find out that that's it... Hopefully if they knew this going into Season 2 there won't be any rubbish cliffhangers and it wraps up nicely...

From Aug 2019 to Feb 2022 and only 2 seasons? This is why I pass on most shows, you literally wait years for another season!
