No Season 2 for the country music drama.

It is being reported that Fox has cancelled Monarch after one season. The drama wrapped its freshman run just yesterday, but the move is not a surprise, as the musical drama failed to draw a significant audience over the course of its 11 episodes.
The series follows the reigning King and Queen of Country Music, Albie Roman and his wife Dottie Cantrell Roman. While their name is synonymous with authenticity, the foundation of their success is a lie. When their reign as country royalty is jeopardized after dangerous truths come to light, heir to the crown Nicky Roman will stop at nothing to protect her family's legacy while on her own quest for stardom.

Love Anna Friel and Susan Sarandon but I honestly found this hard to watch and gave up after 3 episodes

AGAIN !! I get interested in ANOTHER show and it’s cancelled before it even has a chance !! There is NOTHING on tv anymore but COP dramas or stupid reality shows like THE. MASKED SINGER.. how stupid. Then there is a ton of 911 in each big city. Remember when DALLAS and KNOTS LANDING could bring in an audience for season after season? Now you networks DO NOT EVEN TRY ANYMORE !! This is why soon we are all moving to streaming and not gonna care about the core channels that were the only ones AVAILABLE at one time. ABC- CBS-NBC-FOX. I AM FINISHED WITH FOX !! Nothing but crap shows. Nothing for Family. Nothing for the 49-70 age range. You care NOTHING about your viewers. Why don’t you cancel the WHOLE ACTUAL CHANNEL??

Hard to watch ..when they changed channels without u knowing then it ends up being on fox and u can't watch it on on demand so when u finally realize u end up getting episode 7 and missing out on all the story line episode 3 would have been good to be able to watch as it was just getting into the storyline more !

This show was just horrible. It was suppose to debut in Jan. of 2022 and then they pushed it out for 6 months. I watched the first episode and thought it was a waste of time.
Several years ago, the production companies would have preview audience reviews. I went to one. We watched the shows' pilots and gave input, good and bad. None of the shows I reviewed made it to a tv schedule.

I liked that show. I figured it was over when they wrapped up everything in a bow minus the very very end. Everyone got what they wanted.

Watched the 1st episode when it debuted on tv. The episode was said to start at 8pm, when we tuned in at 8pm the show was already started half way in the middle. From what we found out it started at 7:30pm NOT 8pm like advertised. We got so confused at this show that we quit after episode 1. Not a very good show if they cant even get the timing right.
