It is being reported by Deadline that Peacock has cancelled One of Us Is Lying after two seasons. The news comes three months after the drama released its 8-episode sophomore run.
Based on the best-selling novel of the same name by Karen M. McManus, the series follows five students at Bayview High who are sent to detention. After one of them suffers a fatal allergic reaction, an investigation into their death begins - and reveals that the other four students each had reasons to commit the murder. Everyone is a suspect, and everyone has something to hide.

I really liked the first season but felt they could have stopped there. Regardless, I tried watching the second season but I just couldn't get into it. It was missing something. Not sure what but I found it boring. I'm not surprised it didn't get a third.

Well that sucks, I really enjoyed this series. It does leave on a cliffhanger, but at least it reveals the killer at the end.
