Peacock has ordered another round of the competition series.

Peacock announced today that The Traitors has been picked up for a second season. The news comes less than a month after the competition series released its freshman run on the streaming service.
Hosted by Alan Cumming in a remote castle in the Scottish Highlands, the psychological competition series brings together 20 contestants - including some reality stars - to complete a series of challenges with the goal of earning a cash prize of up to $250,000. The only catch is that three of the contestants are "traitors," and will devise a plan to steal the prize from the others.
It was also announced that a Season 1 reunion special, hosted by Andy Cohen, will be released on Peacock on February 28.

Including "reality TV" participants spoils the "natural" sense of interactions (I know it's a reality TV show as well), but a few participants just "act for social media" commentary, making the US version pretty much unwatchable.
The Canadian version is currently airing, but it too has some contestants with TV experience.
What makes the show interesting are the plot twists, which of course, for the most part, get copied from 1 series to the next.
Not sure a 2nd season would bring anything interesting.
And despite the fact I like Alan Cumming, I think he's a terrible "host" for this show (perhaps he tries too hard?)
