The late night talk show will say good-bye after 28 years.
February 8, 2023
It is being reported that The Late Late Show will be coming to an end after its current host, James Corden, leaves the show later this year. Corden, who has hosted the late night series since 2015, announced his departure last April.
On the air since 1995, The Late Late Show has also been hosted by Tom Snyder, Craig Kilborn, and Craig Ferguson over the past 28 years. But with Corden leaving, it appears that CBS will be filling the time slot with a different type of show.
Word is that the network will air a new version of '@midnight' at 12:30am. To be executive produced by Stephen Colbert, the show will be a reboot of the improv comedy panel game show that aired on Comedy Central between 2013 and 2017.

Ferguson was a love-him-or-hate-him guy. I, personally, loved his style. There was never any hate, very little politics, and it was about having fun at a time of night when people didn't want to be lecured to or yelled at, but just wanted to relax.
Kimmel, Colbert, and Fallon (and Conan later in his career) destroyed late night talk. They made it about nothing but politics. They were unoriginal in their jokes and were paid to push certain messages, even ones that got people physically hurt.
Corden was just the latest in a recent sting of losers who got to where he was because he was willing to shill, not because he had any talent. Good riddance to him. Hopefully the rest will follow soon.
