Word is out that The Company You Keep has been cancelled by ABC after one season. The news comes less than a week after the drama ended its 10-episode freshman run. A mid-season entry, the show ultimately struggled to find viewers in its Sunday night time slot.
Based on the Korean Broadcasting System series 'My Fellow Citizens,' The Company You Keep follows a con man named Charlie and an undercover CIA officer named Emma who, after a night of passion, are left unknowingly on a collision course professionally. While Charlie ramps up the 'family business' so he can get out for good, Emma is closing in on the vengeful criminal who holds Charlie's family debts in hand - forcing them to reckon with the lies they've told so they can save themselves and their families from disastrous consequences.

ABC decided to cancel this show, yet they kept renewing The Good Doctor for more seasons.
Have ABC realized that that show reinforces and perpetuates harmful stereotypes towards autistic people?

Actually a show I looked forward to every week. I use to work for Aaron Spelling,he knew what people liked. You people obviously don't get it!
Always give a good show 2 seasons to make sure you aren't going to make it. 10 shows it's a joke, just when you're hooking people, you drop it.

So bummed! This show took 1-2 episodes for me to realize how great it is & then it got cancelled! Even though I heard it was cancelled, I still watched every episode on my DVR. Such a great season ending! Great show & I’m sad to see it go.

Thanks ABC for nothing. Axe a good show but keep all the stupid Bachelor/ Bachelorette shows. Ridiculous. Nothing for me to watch on ABC anymore so bye bye ABC.

Another stupid decision!!! This was such a good show. I guess that we as the public are supposed to be subject to additional Reality TV crap that offers no escape. Might be time to finally cut the cord with Network Television and only watch Netflix of Hulu. Ugh!!!

What a disappointing decision. Only average shows are kept nowadays. Really sad decision. I hope some other networks will pick it up.
