'Inside Amy Schumer' Cancelled At Paramount+

The sketch comedy series has been removed from the service.

Inside Amy Schumer is done at Paramount+ after five seasons. The streaming service has removed the sketch comedy from the platform, making it the latest series to be taken completely off of Paramount+ as part of an overall cost-cutting.

The show made its long-awaited return last fall for what would be its now-final season, which at five episodes was the shortest of its entire run. Before that, the show had been off the air since 2016.

Inside Amy Schumer featured scripted vignettes, interviews on the street, and stand-up comedy.

Shocker!

Why women aren't funny.....

They get older... and .....

1) ... get married, have children, etc. ... then all the "jokes" become about marriage and children from a woman's perspective... (Iliza Schlesinger, Amy Schumer)

Or.....

2) They DON'T get married and start to grow bitter and resentful.... and all the jokes become man-hating jokes (Nikki Glaser)

or....

3) Gay female comedians ..... as they age all the jokes increasingly become just about being gay..

Schumer's last season of this show CLEARLY falls into #1 above. It just wasn't funny.
