It is being reported that Hulu has cancelled Up Here after one season. The news comes four months after the romantic musical comedy released its 8-episode freshman run, which ultimately garnered a mixed reception.

The series follows the extraordinary story of one ordinary couple as they fall in love in 1999 New York City. Together they learn that the greatest obstacle to finding happiness with each other might just be themselves – as well as the treacherous world of memories, obsessions, fears, and fantasies that lives inside their heads.
