The superhero series debuts later this month.
September 8, 2023
Prime Video is set to premiere Gen V, which comes from the world of 'The Boys,' later this month on September 29. The spin-off series expands the universe to Godolkin University, the prestigious superhero-only college where students train to be the next generation of heroes.
In the show, a group of competitive young heroes are the first generation to know about Compound V, and that their powers come from an injection rather than being God-given. These superheroes put their physical and moral boundaries to the test as they vie for the school's highly-coveted top ranking. But when the university's dark secrets come to light, they'll learn that the difference between right and wrong isn't always clear, forcing them to come to terms with the type of heroes want to become.
Three episodes will release on Friday, September 29, followed by weekly episodes through to the season finale on Friday, November 3.

The boys is great. I even went into a 2nd and Charles and looked through the graphic novels. I didn't respond to the artwork and wasn't able to go into the comics. The amazon show is really great.
I hope this is a short adventure, quick look, at mutant teen high school/prep.
Hopefully amazon doesn't try to build a franchise and works with good story telling.
