Squid game is a korean tv show. Not a hollywood one. I would say that allowing small children to watch it is child abuse. So is grand theft auto. I was horrified to see 6 year olds playing red light green light , shoot oeople. But then I pften see kids who are not even fed by parents so they can buy weed . Butthe show is solid for adults .

Hollywood will make a cash-grab out of anything.

The real question is when is season 2 of the show coming out! I want, no I NEED me some squid games back in my life!
@Emmy~Yeah totally not fucked up. My guess is even if it was true to the show and the games were lethal ☠️ you’d still have people signing up to play! People are stupid!

Reminds me of some of the Game Show commercials from the original RoboCop movie.

I'll bet it's not as lethal.

Um... does anyone else find this a little f***ed up? Like, the original show was about the desperation of people in such a bad place in life that they are willing to literally die just for the teeny tiny possibility of winning the money. So, yeah, let's make a fun reality show out of it. No. No thank you.

I don't think anything like this has been done before so I'll check it out to see what it's like. The prize money is huge... I wonder if it will be split or if there will only be one winner?

I'll be watching this for sure. It may not be great, since the contestants won't actually be in any real danger, but I hope they do a good job of making it as entertaining as possible.

Talk about completely missing the point of the original show. Good grief.
