No Season 3 for the film-based dramedy.
September 25, 2023
It is being reported that Starz has cancelled Blindspotting after two seasons. The news comes four months after the dramedy wrapped its 8-episode sophomore run, which again garnered an overall positive reception from viewers and critics.
Acting as a spin-off sequel of the 2018 film of the same name, the series follows Ashley, who was hoping to settle down in a middle-class life in Oakland until her partner and father of her son, Miles, ends up in jail. As she is left to navigate this existential crisis, Ashley moves in with Miles' mother and half-sister.

I suspect Steve S is woke. My reasons? Well, too many people won't see wokeness anywhere, hence he may be woke. On the other hand, for sure he's dumb. No suspicion there, just certainty.

Certain ppl love to say everything is woke when it has a diverse cast.

... this show sucked.... just like the movie...
There's no premise or story.. just some amateur writers wanting to write morons with "thug" attitudes but avoid the cliched black hole of drug dealing and violence.

I have no idea if this is woke or not but the diverse cast suggests it's at least compatible. What's interesting though is the name, blindspotting. Some people have an intentional blindspot for not acknowledging woke which facilitates others being, possibly overly, suspicious.

Oh no! This is lame, I’ve really loved this show. Makes me miss living in Oakland. Great example of a show having themes and bigger ideas but also being entertaining and relatable on a smaller character level.
