FX announced today that The Bear has been picked up for a third season on Hulu. The good news comes four months after the drama released its 10-episode sophomore run, again receiving widespread praise from both viewers and critics.
"The Bear, which wowed audiences in its first season only to achieve even greater heights in season two, has become a cultural phenomenon," said Nick Grad, President, FX Entertainment. "We're so proud to partner with Christopher Storer, Joanna Calo, Josh Senior, and the rest of the creative team, as well as the brilliant cast led by Jeremy Allen White, Ayo Edebiri and Ebon Moss-Bachrach. What they and the crew have done is truly remarkable, and we and our partners at Hulu join fans in looking forward to the next chapter in the story of The Bear."
The series follows Carmen 'Carmy' Berzatto, a young chef from the fine dining world who moves back to Chicago to run his family's sandwich shop after a death in the family. Out of his comfort zone, Carmy must grapple with the loss of his brother while balancing small business ownership, his stubborn kitchen staff, and his strained family relationships.
Look for Season 3 of The Bear in 2024.

Very disappointed in Season 3 so far. Only mid way through as I've not been interested enough to binge all 10 episodes quickly. Season 1 was awesome, 2 really good and 3 meh. Considering all the awards it's gotten, it'll likely get renewed for a 4th, but I really couldn't care less.

I have never watched but I am intrigued by the extreme opposite opinions of really love it or really hate it. This comment made me lol "this misery burger (with a side of stress)" Now I feel like I have to give it a try to see for myself.

Fantastic news for one of the best shows on tv right now. Brings back a lot of memories of when I worked in the service industry. All the performances are excellent and it also has some of the best directing on tv right now.

Gave up on this after four episodes in the first season. We're haunted by the nagging mystery of "What are we missing? It's so utterly pointless. Is the rest of the world crazy in loving this misery burger (with a side of stress)?"

What a fucking piece of crap show. Hated it with a passion.
When will Severance come back? That's a show I liked. It's good unlike The Bear. The Bear? More like The Barf.

Entertaining, but too over the top. Dialogue is forced and unbelievable. It's more like a dramatic play on stage than a TV show. A lot of overacting.

This is great news! Especially considering that cliffhanger. It couldn't end on that note lol
