Acorn TV has announced that Harry Wild will be returning for a third season. The renewal makes sense, as the drama's first two seasons have been strong performers for the streaming service.
"I am thrilled for another mystery-packed season of Harry Wild and can't wait for our fans to see what investigations Harry and Fergus encounter in Season 3 on Acorn TV," said star and executive producer Jane Seymour. "It has been such a joy playing this multi-faceted character and returning to Ireland again to work with this talented cast and crew was fantastic."
The series follows Harriet "Harry" Wild, a recently retired literature professor who is adjusting to her new life when she's mugged. While recovering at the home of her son, a Dublin police detective, Harry gleans a clue for the case he's working on. But when she's rebuffed, Harry decides to solve the crime herself. This leads her to find a new path in life as a private investigator.
Six new episodes have been ordered for Season 3 of Harry Wild. Look for a premiere in 2024.

Unwatchable. I'm a fan of Jane Seymour - but she is just not believable in this role.

The first season was delightful fun. Harry stumbling and fumbling into this private eye gig. Her using all manner of literature references gleaned from her career to give insight. Meeting Fergus.
The second season was rather flat across the board. Story and acting seemed to be just...coasting.
So, I'm surprised it was renewed, but third time the charm, as they say?
