Acorn TV has announced that Harry Wild has been renewed for a fifth season. The pickup is no surprise, as the acclaimed Irish mystery drama continues to be a strong performer for the streaming service. Its current season ranks among Acorn TV's Top 10 most watched seasons of all time, with viewership up double-digits from the prior season.

"I am honored to have the opportunity to continue to bring Harry Wild to life for another season and am excited for her to solve a new batch of layered mysteries deeply rooted in literature with my castmates," said star and executive producer Jane Seymour. "It has been so rewarding to work with everyone on this production and I'm thrilled to embark on another season with my Acorn TV family."

The series follows Harriet "Harry" Wild, a recently retired literature professor who is adjusting to her new life when she's mugged. While recovering at the home of her son, a Dublin police detective, Harry gleans a clue for the case he's working on. But when she's rebuffed, Harry decides to solve the crime herself. This leads her to find a new path in life as a private investigator.

Season 5 will consist of six episodes and promises to be Harry's most thrilling ride yet, including murder mysteries in the world of whiskey-making, theatre and musical-tattoos, not to mention a gang of middle-aged lady burglars and a murder close to home. Production is slated to return to Dublin, Ireland later this year. Look for a return in 2026.
